Feb., 21st-22nd 2020 UPDATE: Championship RD 1 ~ 4A State Championships Tuscarora High School, Leesburg, VA

UPDATE AS OF: 2/21/2020 2:20PM

Leesburg, VA: All 4A teams entered in the State Championships would have first round bouts wrestling on three wrestling mats in Tuscarora main gym. Each weight class would fill a 16-Man bracket with eight winners advancing onto the Championship Quarters, no one wrestler being eliminated at this point.

A victory in the opening round would give teams advancement points plus bonus points if earned but placement points would not be granted to any wrestlers in the first round. For that to occur wrestlers would have to win their second match in the Championship round.

Team Overview: Team Fauquier went 8 - 1 and advanced 8 Falcons onto the State Championship Quarters. The Falcons came out of the gate strong recording 7 earned pins during this round. Currently the Falcons have earned 30 team points and rest in first place after opening Championship round.

The next round will be the first round of the Consolations. The schedule has the Consolation Round 1 starting at 2PM. The tournament may take a short break at conclusion of this round and is scheduled for a 5:30PM Championships Quarter Finals starting time.
