Portsmouth, VA: All teams entered in the State Championships would have first round matches with no byes. Each weight class would fill a 16-Man bracket with eight winners advancing onto the Championship Quarters with no one wrestler being eliminated. Teams would only get advancement points and or can earn bonus points this round as no placement points would be given to wrestlers in the first round this morning.
Overview: Fauquier went 8 - 2 and advanced eight Falcons into the Championship Quarters. Seven wrestlers earned pins this round as team Fauquier has 31 team points and currently rest in second place as a team. The next round will be the first round of the Consolations. The schedule then has the Quarter Finals at 3PM.
