DETAILS: Fauquier Wrestling team will be competing in the 4A Region C Championships at Sherando HS on Friday, Feb., 9th. The 4A Region C is made up of two Districts (Northwestern and Dulles) as Regional brackets will be comprised of an 8-man field. The event will start on Friday at 1PM and tentatively has a 6:00PM Champions Finals starting time. The Falcons have qualified 10 wrestlers that will be competing to try to bring home the Regional crown for a fourth straight time and the eighth time over all. The top four placers in each weight class will advance to the 4A State meet. Come out and support the team and look for Fauquier wrestling round updates of this event to be posted here. SEEDS: Seeding for regional tournament will be as follows: NW 1 vs. D4, NW3 vs. D2, NW4 vs. D1, NW2 vs. D3. If a district cannot provide a 4 seed, the opposite district 5 seed will advance.
STATE QUALIFIERS: Top four wrestlers in each weight class will advance to the 4A State Championships on Feb 16th and 17th at Chucrhland High School.
