The 2020 State Champions Fauquier Wrestling Awards Program

Fauquier wrestling came together On Wednesday, March 4th to participate in the 2019-20 Fauquier Winter Sports awards program. As the MVP awards for all Fauquier winter sport teams were issued in Auditorium, teams then split off into different groups to hand out its additional awards. Below are the awards and wrestlers that were honored.
Team Awards:
Co-MVP/Booster Award - Sam Fisher and Gino Camarca
Attendance Award - Eric Dewald
JV MVP - Bryce Frost
4 year Starter/Letterman - Sam Fisher and Gino Camarca
Ironman Award - Eric Dewald
Most Dominant Wrestler - Sam Fisher and Gino Camarca
Most Improved - Gino Camarca
Coaches Award - Casey Burr
Team Award - David Dewald
Outstanding Rookie Award - DJ Richards
Captains Award - Sam Fisher, Gino Camarca, David Dewald

The Awards

Team Fauquier ended the 2019-20 campaign winning the Northwestern District Championships, Crowned the 4A Region C for the ninth time and finished the season by winning the 2020 4A State Championships. This would be the third time team Fauquier has won the State title since 2015
Coach Doug Fisher would like to give much thanks to the coaches, parents, managers, and the wrestlers for an outstanding season.
